Baird & Associates Coastal Engineers Ltd. has developed a reliable long-term wave climate for the entire Pacific Ocean. Comprehensive validations with measured wave data from Canada to Chile have been undertaken, which makes this database highly applicable for marine and coastal engineering projects along North, Central and South American coastlines exposed to Pacific Ocean waves.

This deepwater wave database is an outcome of five (5) years of global spectral wave modelling work in conjunction with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Waterways Experiment Station and the Chilean Navy's Oceanographic and Hydrographic Service (SHOA).
